Mental Wellness Cell
The Meraki Cell at DME is a vital student-led society established in October 2020, dedicated to promoting mental health and holistic well-being. Recognizing the intense pressures of academic life, it offers a safe, confidential environment where students and staff can seek professional psycho-emotional support. Under the guidance of experienced counselors, the cell provides individual counseling and group therapy sessions. Beyond clinical support, Meraki fosters awareness through engaging initiatives, including expert-led workshops, expressive open mic events, and the biannual e-magazine "Santulan", effectively destigmatizing mental health issues across the campus community.

Cyber Security Cell
Established in 2017, the Cyber Cell at DME is a proactive student-led initiative dedicated to fostering a secure digital ecosystem through its core pillars: Awareness, Research, and Training. The cell addresses the complexities of the virtual world by educating the community on evolving technological threats and best practices for online safety. Its comprehensive calendar includes high-impact annual events, specialized monthly sessions on cybersecurity challenges, an informative newsletter, and impactful outreach workshops for schools. Crucially, the cell serves as a support system by offering free legal advice to cybercrime victims, effectively bridging the gap between technology and justice.

Mentoring Cell
DME implements a comprehensive Mentoring Support System designed to bridge the gap between academic instruction and personal growth. Under this initiative, each faculty member mentors a dedicated batch of approximately 30 students throughout their entire educational journey.Weekly scheduled sessions provide personalized counseling on academic challenges, career aspirations, and personal well-being. Furthermore, the program includes mandatory Parent-Mentor Meets (PMM) conducted twice per semester to ensure transparent communication regarding attendance and performance. This structured approach fosters a supportive ecosystem of consistent emotional and professional guidance, ultimately empowering students to achieve their full potential.

DME operates a Grievance Redressal Committee in alignment with UGC Regulations 2012 to maintain a fair and harmonious campus. Internal Complaints Committee (POSH)
DME enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment across its physical and digital campuses. In alignment with the Vishakha Guidelines, the Act of 2013, and UGC Regulations (2015), the college has established an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to uphold gender equality and constitutional rights.The ICC is empowered to investigate complaints from both students and faculty. Notably, student members join proceedings only when a complaint is lodged against a peer. Through these strict regulatory frameworks, DME ensures a safe, respectful environment and a transparent redressal process for all members of the institution.

Anti Ragging Cell
DME maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward ragging and bullying, strictly adhering to University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations. To ensure a safe environment, the college has established a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad responsible for monitoring campus conduct and taking disciplinary action against offenders.The prevention process begins at enrollment, requiring mandatory anti-ragging affidavits from both students and parents. At the start of each academic year, the squad conducts awareness drives during orientation and performs regular patrols, including rigorous identity checks. These proactive measures ensure a secure, inclusive, and disciplined atmosphere for all students.
