The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is a structured and holistic knowledge framework rooted in India’s ancient texts such as the Vedas and Upanishads. It represents a systematic methodology of knowledge creation, preservation, and dissemination based on observation, experimentation, and experiential learning. Revitalized under the National Education Policy 2020, IKS promotes multidisciplinary integration of traditional wisdom with contemporary higher education.

The IKS Cell actively conducts impactful workshops, sessions, internship drives, and the Multi-Dimensional Leadership Conclave (MDLC) to promote holistic learning. Initiatives such as the Session on Success through Mind Control, lessons from Indian Knowledge Systems (Mahabharata) for Sustainable Business Practices, IKS-focused workshops, and value-driven internship drives integrate ancient wisdom with contemporary leadership practices. These engagements nurture emotional intelligence, ethical decision-making, and purpose-driven leadership aligned with Indian Knowledge Systems and NEP 2020.

The IKS Cell successfully organized a Two-Day National Conference on Exploring Spiritual Foundations of Leadership and Management, bringing together academicians, researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners from across the country. The conference provided a scholarly platform to deliberate on the integration of Indian spiritual wisdom with contemporary management practices, emphasizing ethical leadership, value-based governance, and sustainable organizational development. Through keynote addresses, research paper presentations, and panel discussions, the event fostered interdisciplinary dialogue and reinforced the relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems in shaping responsible and transformative leadership aligned with NEP 2020.

The IKS Cell actively organizes academic and cultural events in which students take active participation such as the Book Review Competition on Tagore Jayanti and the Iconic Strategist Business Presentation Contest in celebration of World Sanskrit Day. These initiatives encourage students to derive management and leadership lessons from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavad Gita, fostering ethical decision-making, strategic thinking, and value-based leadership aligned with Indian Knowledge Systems and NEP 2020.

The IKS Cell actively organizes Faculty Development Programmes related to Indian Knowledge Systems, intensive courses on Emotional Intelligence and Critical Thinking, Internships and SWAYAM-certified MOOCs on Indian Knowledge Systems in collaboration with premier institutions such as IIM Bangalore and Chanakya University. These initiatives strengthen academic capacity, interdisciplinary understanding, and holistic development aligned with NEP 2020.
