DME Placement cell ensures that no student in DME remains an untapped talent. Students are put through presentation and public speaking training, resume creation, industry specific skillset, updated software knowledge and ever training required to succeed as a professional.

7 days 365 Tools

Students attended and gained training from a 7-day Microsoft Certification workshop on PowerPoint and Sway; Word and Publisher and, Excel and Visio. Mr. Parth Shukla, Corporate Trainer and Microsoft Certified Professional instilled a thorough understanding of the tools and their use to build a better career. 

Microsoft Certification Courses

Students were introduced to several Microsoft Certification courses in an interactive session conducted under the supervision of Mr. Parth Shroff, Microsoft Certified Professional and a Corporate Trainer. They learnt how these tools and additional qualifications could enrich their profiles and help them in seeking better employment.

Skill Enhancement

Students discussed issues of cybercrimes and cyber security in an interactive session with
Mr. Parth Shroff, Microsoft Certified Professional and a Corporate Trainer, who apprised students on potential risks and challenges associated with use of the internet technology and how to tackle them, using demonstration exercises. 

 

Mock Interview Drive

Students faced interviews for the first time in front of their teachers who prepared them for the times ahead when DME Management School organized Mock Interviews for students. Each interview was followed by a 5 minutes feedback session wherein the interviewer gave feedback on the CV of the students and interview skills.

Pre-Placement Activity

BOLOINDYA  app, one of India’s fastest growing app for short video content in local languages, conducted a pre-placement drive with BBA, MBA, BBA LLB and MBA students through Zoom platform.    The programme informed students about the 2-month long internship which will help interns understand social media landscape, digital marketing, sharpen skills and the corporate environment.

Public Speaking workshop

A series of public speaking workshops are conducted by DME Management School in every semester which boost the essential skill of public speaking among students and instill effective communication in addition to critical thinking, courtesy of the topics chosen and engaged with.

Resume Making Workshop

Dr Ravikant Swami, Director, Delhi Metropolitan Education, unravelled the art and craft of Resume writing for students and explained appropriate formats, sequencing and content in addition to common myths and. He put analysing oneself and skillsets into perspective for making a better resume and finding more appropriate jobs.

Rubicon Workshop

Rubicon Skill Development, Barclays organized a training program for the Management students with Mr. Preetam Nayak, life skills coach and a motivational trainer, educating students about the mindset that often controls the human brain and how they could find the will and motivation to do a task or to achieve a dream. Telephonic and email etiquette lessons, positive and negative body postures, public speaking, critical and logical reasoning lessons followed. 

Session on Portfolio Making

Dr Pooja Arora, a public relations professional with more than 10 years of experience, explored the process of creating Portfolios with emphasis on building skillsets, portraying achievements effectively and aligning own objectives with the objectives of target organizations to improve the chances of getting recruited.

Session on LinkedIn Profile and Elevator Pitch

Linked In, world’s most used employment oriented digital space was deliberated upon by Mr. Ritwik Ghosh, Assistant Professor, DME Media School, who demonstrated utilizing Linked In for finding jobs, recruiters and professional networking. He also gave students perspective about finding areas of interest and skill sets.

Mock Interviews

Teachers turned panelists for a Mock Interview session for training the students to remain calm under pressure and do their best. They questioned students about their career objectives and their existing skills. The students were also asked to elaborate their work and academic experiences so far.

TC Global Fair

Representatives of over 70 universities from across the globe were at TC Global Education Fair, a venue which provided students with guidance on universities, courses and employment internationally. They also made the students aware of the process for applying to universities along with documentation and visa application processing.
