INTRODUCTION

JUST AS THE WRITER, MARKS HIS EPIGRAM WITH ITALICS, SETTING THE LITTLE GEM, SO TO SPEAK, AN ORATOR,  JUST LIKE A JEWELLER,  MARKS HIS GOOD THINGS, BY A DRAMATIC PAUSE OR BY RAISING FOR LOWERING THE VOICES, OR BY GESTURES OF BY BROWS POINTED.

– OSCAR WILDE.

Orating unlike all the other arts, is not just a quality to impress, or to prove but to influence. When we step on stage, with the head held high, to influence the world and to express our emotions, speech is left as a very scant action. ABHIVYAKTI, as the name suggest, to express or to enunciate. Here at DME we work to disseminate infallible dialogues, with strong and verified quotes, articles and pretense. We consider in rousing the speaker, not just with considerable old school thoughts and actions but rather make you work on the modus of newfangled pondering, enhancing your spirit to the most.

The glimpse of your lifestyle, shines out in your speech. There are chances where your dressing style and other actions, are just adorable, but the moment you open your mouth, your speech turns everything down. Just not debates, here in ABHIVYAKTI we also try to reveal the hidden writer in you.  Writing techniques, with great orating skills becomes your cherry on the cake.

Both your writing and orating skills, enhance while reading. And it’s very old school saying that reading makes you disciplined. The foremost agenda of the society that works on you being, responsible, disciplined, punctual and decisive. LATEST EVENTS OF 2020

ALWAYS FIND A REASON TO LAUGH, IT MAY NOT ADD YEARS TO YOUR LIFE BUT WILL SURELY ADD LIFE TO YOUR YEARS

– M. DRAKE

Laughter is the best medicine, and surely will be forever. Not just a wide   statement remarked without any sensible investigation but it is proved that laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. With this view in mind and create a positive environment for the students, The Cultural And Debate Society, ABHIVYAKTI of  our College Delhi Metropolitan Education, conducted a live stand-up comedy and story telling competition, under the guidance of our FACULTY and SOCIETY CONVENOR, Dr. Swati Jain and Mohit Sir, with the hard work of our STUDENT CONVENER,  Udit kumar and CO- CONVENOR, Raj Singh and all the other members of team ABHIVYAKTI.

With this growing world, stand up comedy in India has already reached to a new fag-end and created newfangled humour for the audience. For many of the student audience members, it was the first time they’ve seen comedy in person. The program started, with an interesting story by our student convener, Udit kumar and was followed by a number of stand-ups that really made people feel butterflies in the stomach. The program went ahead where new participants came and showed their unbelievable talent standing on the stage, performing great jokes and making people laugh. Add the very end our student co-convener, Raj Singh remarked his presence over the stage and performed one of the greatest stand ups of the day. The most interesting part for the program was that, in this world where comedy and jokes have been limited to vagueness and vulgarity, our performers did decent jokes with the next level humour. Even the audience, cheered the performers with all the energy that really made the show one of the greatest in the history of DME.

At the end, our SOCIETY CONVENER, Dr Swati Jain came on the stage and thanked everyone for their presence and congratulated the performers for making the evening so great. At last the certificates for the participation was distributed among the performers and a group photograph was clicked to save that beautiful moment forever.
