Farewell 2020

The cultural society of Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida, Sector-62 affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, conducted Virtual Farewell for Batch Of 2015-2020 (BA/BBA LLB) on 9/August/2020, Sunday; 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

The e-farewell was conducted under the guidance of our cultural head, Ms. Navjot Suri ma’am. The event became successful with the presence of our ever guiding and supportive Vice Chairman Mr. Aman Sahni Sir, Director General Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhanwar Singh Sir, Dean Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Kumar Bahl Sir, HOA Prof. (Dr.) Bhavish Gupta Sir and Director Professor Mr. Ravikant Swamy Sir.

The event was executed by the student convenor of Virtual Farewell Vartika Gaur and Surbhi Soni and members Smriti Bali, Disha Mittal, Pragati Sharma, Saurabh Singh, Sharmishtha Sharma, Sriejan Gaur, Pulkit Juneja, Prakhar Agrawal.

The event began with the speech of our respected dignitaries Vice Chairman Mr. Aman Sahni Sir, Director General Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhanwar Singh Sir, Dean Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Kumar Bahl Sir, HOA Prof. (Dr.) Bhavish Gupta Sir and Director Professor Mr. Ravikant Swamy Sir. Students were filled with enthusiasm after listening to the kind words of our dignitaries.

It was further followed by an enthralling musical performance by Alankaar- DME Music Society. Then the students were made to play games which included Dumb Charades, Movie Guess and Guess the Song. They thoroughly enjoyed all the games and winners were rewarded with exciting prizes. All the teacher’s blessed the batch of 2015-2020 through their beautiful words. Then winners were announced for DME’s Mr. & Ms. Favourite and Mr. & Ms. Well Dressed 2020.

The event was further followed by FITOOR-DME Dance Society’s dance performance. Then it was the time for “Mann Ki Baat DME Batch 2015-2020 ke Saath’’ in which the juniors and batchmates of batch 2015-2020 shared their memories and messages. After this, the titles were presented to the students and lastly, the event was winded up by the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Navjot Suri, Cultural Head, DME, Noida.

Farewell 2019

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end.

On 16th April 2019, Ist&IInd year students of the DME Management School organised a party to bid farewell to their seniors, students of BBA final year at Nelson Mandela Auditorium.The seniors were given a chance to share and write their best memories of college on the display board. The auditorium was beautifully decorated by the students themselves with balloons and streamers all around.Welcome speeches, overall stage handling and anchoring were handled by BBA IInd year students.

For the first performance, the students sang a melodious number which was followed by a power packed dance performance. Absolutely overwhelming memories were shared by the seniors about the time they spent at college. They expressed gratitude towards their teachers and friends. Teachers also came up on the stage to share their thoughts and emotions for their students.The juniors also screened a heartfelt video which left almost every senior teary-eyed. All the performances were appreciated and applauded by all.

Whole aura became even more sentimental when Dr. Ravi Kant Swami (Head, DME Management School) shared his experience and a small poem for the final year students. Felicitations and award giving ceremony was the most awaited part of the whole event. At the end, a delicious cake was cut by Justice Bhanwar Singh (Director General, DME) with the students to cherish their last few moments in the college.The cake cutting ceremony was followed by group photograph of students with faculty members. The event ended on a great note and all the students danced together in the auditorium on their favourite songs.

DME LAW SCHOOL organized farewell party “NEVER SAY GOODBYE” in the college auditorium where students of LAW bid farewell to the outgoing students of 2014-19 Batch with great enthusiasm and off course nostalgia.In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the NELSON MANDELA AUDITORIUM of the DME College Campus, the students, staff and management of the College bid adieu to the Students of 2014-2019 Batch at a grand farewell function. The programme commenced with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony followed by the address by Director General, Justice Mr. Bhanwar Singh where he spoke encouraging words of wisdom for the final year students which was followed by special blessings by Vice-Chairman Mr. Aman Sahni and Director Dr. Ravi kant Swami to the students .

The evening progressed with energetic dance performance by “Fittor” DME Dance society.A video presentation by the college made everyone mushy. It reminded them of their yesteryear’s and home away from home. Thereafter few students came forward to share their experiences and memories of their beloved seniors and faculty members.The nostalgic students of the final year brought tears to the eyes of all present by the recollection of their college days.

The cultural events progressed with Musical performance by Alankaar DME Music society. Different tags were awarded to all the students of final year by the faculty members on stage such as tag of Miss Well Dressed, Mr. Well Dressed, Miss Perfect & Mr. Perfect, Miss Charming, Mr. Handsome, Miss simple, Mr. simple etc. Some exciting games were also arranged for the students like musical chair, Balloon blowing etc. and were enjoyed by all.The winners were awarded with gifts.Token of love and appreciation was given to the students by their juniors.Token of love was presented by the ongoing students to the faculty of Law department. The cake cutting ceremony brought smile and happiness on each one of the face.The programme concluded with dinner organized for the final year batch by their juniors.

Ms. Navjot Suri and Ms. Komal Kapoor, Faculties of Law Department coordinated for the Farewell 2019 with the fourth year students with zeal and excitement.
