Admission Requirements and Counselling Process in IPU | DME
DME welcomes ambitious students seeking admission to its undergraduate programs in BBA and BA(JMC), Integrated courses BBA.LLB and BA.LLB(5 years) and Masters program- LLM (1 year), Admission 2025 is primarily based on appearing in Exams like CUET, CET and CLAT. NTA is likely to start CUET 2025 registration in February 2025. Candidates can check the examinations date on cuet.samarth.ac.in.Please note that 85% of available seats are reserved for Delhi students. Applications for admission can be submitted online through the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University website (www.ipu.ac.in). Management Quota Seats
For Management Quota Seats, candidates can apply at r.sood@dme.ac.in, p.tripathi@dme.ac.in, or in person at the campus once the admissions process commences and is notified. 90% of the admissions are done through University Counselling and 10% seats are available for Management Quota. The criteria for admission through Management Quota is strictly merit based (results of the qualifying exam as specified by the University and an interview).
Eligibility for Academic Session for Year 2025-26
DME Law School – [BA-LLB/BBA-LLB and LLM]
BA-LLB/BBA-LLB Eligibility-
Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
Admission Criteria – Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the CLAT and CUET.
LLM Eligibility-
LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University, with not less than 55% marks.
Admission Criteria- All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test – Postgraduate, 2025 (CLAT – PG, 2025) that is conducted by National Law University on a rotational basis.

- What are the eligibility criteria for CUET and CET 2024-25?
The CUET and CET eligibility may vary depending on the course applied for. Generally, candidates must have qualified Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. - Do we have to give CET we have given CUET.
Admission shall be on the basis of the merit CUET or CET both. Students can apprear in any one of them or both for being eligible for the offered courses. - Is IPU CET easy?
The overall outcome of the analysis of the exam stated that the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to easy. Apart from a few questions, the rest of the questions were of moderate level. - What is the level of IPU CET exam?
University level Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is a university level This exam is conducted for providing admission in engineering, law, computer applications, management and many other courses. Through IP University entrance exam, students will get admission in UG, PG and other courses. - What is the level of questions in CUET-UG exam?
All questions in various testing areas will be benchmarked at the level of Class XII only. Students having studied the Class XII Board syllabus would be able to do well in CUET (UG).
