INTRODUCTION
Delhi Metropolitan Educaton (DME) is dedicated to ataining the pinnacle of excellence in the realm of legal educaton and knowledge. Its mission is to nurture successful, responsible, and commited judicial ofcers as part of its placement program. To achieve this goal, the insttute established DME’s Judicial Training Academy (JTA) in 2017 under the guidance of Hon’ble Mr. Justce Bhanwar Singh, a former judge of the Allahabad High Court. The academy is headed by Mr. Puneet Sharma, an accomplished legal professional, Assistant Professor at DME Law School, LL.B from DU, Gold Medalist in LLM at Indian Law Insttute, NET-JRF Qualifed, and having appeared in Mains & Interview of various State Judiciary, his leadership adds valuable insights to the training provided to aspiring judicial ofcers.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
JTA is aimed to give 360 degrees comprehensive approach to their students aspiring for judicial services and other compettve examinatons like, LL.M. entrance examinaton, Bar Council of India Examinaton (BCI), etc. For this purpose the academy has engaged highly dedicated professionals including, judges, academicians, and highly qualifed experts. The goal of this academy is to ensure that the students of DME get appropriate training and guidance for clearing the judicial examinatons of various states. The academy ensures that the students get deep and advanced knowledge of the core subjects and they are strategically trained for preliminary, mains and interview stages of state level judicial compettve examinatons.
VISION
The vision of the academy is to ensure that students aspiring for a judicial career are thoroughly prepared while graduatng from this insttute. JTA is dedicated to helping students achieve their highest professional dreams and motvatng them to serve the naton to the best of their ability.
CONDUCT OF CLASSES
Classes of JTA are conducted for a contnuous period of one year and are in additon to regular classes. These classes are open exclusively to students of DME Law School who aspire to join judicial services in various states.
