Ms. Navjot Suri, who teaches Law of Crimes II in the Second Year, BBA., LL.B., has conducted the Professional Skill Development Activity (PSDA) related to Law of Crimes II to the students by dividing them into the groups of 15. Each group was supposed to prepare a Nukkad Natak of about 10- 15 minutes on the topics provided. Final presentation of the Nukkad Natak was organized in the Moot Court where the students presented their Nukkad Natak on topics of Law of Crimes such as Dowry Death, Domestic Violence, Rape and Acid Attack and the best Nukkad Natak was awarded in the end.
Students participated in the PSDA with great enthusiasm and zeal. The students also presented their Nukkad Natak outside the college with the aim to spread awareness with a strong message. The audience was in large number including the students, nearby company employees, auto rickshaw pullers, vendors and many others.
Ms. Navjot Suri is teaching Jurisprudence in the Third Year, BBA., LL.B.,Section A and B where she has conducted the Professional Skill Development (PSDA) related to Jurisprudence to the students by dividing them into the groups of 5. Each group was supposed to prepare a Pictorial representation of the Theories given by Jurists on the topics provided.

Students participated in the PSDA with great enthusiasm and zeal. Through this Professional Skill Development Activity students got a chance to enhance their communication skills and it gave them a practical idea of the subject. It was indeed a Fun learning experience for the students.
In pursuance with the syllabi of IP university, a PSDA activity of subject ADR was organized for the Vth semester of BBA LLB on 3rd November 2018. A Negotiation procedure was designed for the students where they were divided into a team of two and pitted against each other on a common problem. The process of Negotiation involves the parties to put their demands before each other and convince, collaborate and negotiate with each other to arrive at a consensus. The students were marked upon their qualities to negotiate, the application of law to the problem and maintenance of civility decorum during the process.
The DME Management School organised an inter-departmental activity Ad Competition as a part of Biz-Fest on October 9, 2018, Thursday, wherein the students from all the three courses participated enthusiastically.
The idea behind the competition was to bring out the creativity and art of advertising among students. It was a team based event and around 20 teams comprising of 60 students participated in the event. The students chose diverse themes for the advertisements, including, consumer-based products, political parties, online ventures etc. It was a great opportunity for students to blend their creativity with acting skills. The judges of the event were Dr Poorva Ranjan (Associate Professor, Law), Dr Parul Mehra (Associate Professor, BJMC) and Dr Swati Jain (Associate Professor, Management). The event was also graced by the presence of Director General, Hon’ble, Justice Bhanwar Singh and Director and Head of Management School, Dr Ravi Kant Swami.
The criteria for the judgement of the event included, acting, dialogue delivery, props used as well as theme. The 1st prize was bagged by Vidhi Sood, Abhishree Srivastava(BBA) and Ramey Rana (Law) while the second prize was bagged by Ayush, Mayuresh and Aditya (Law). The third prize was won by Ayesha, Megha and Harshita (BBA). Consolations prizes were also given for the event.
The DME Management School organised an intra-departmental activity Management Unleashed on September 6, 2018, Thursday, wherein the students from all the three years of BBA course participated enthusiastically. The event was organised to sensitize students about the burning issues of the era – Environmental protection and Values and Ethics. The students painted themes like Sustainable development, E-waste, Healthy society, Deforestation etc beautifully on the T-shirts. Best out of waste event saw some very innovative working models and decoration pieces made completely out of waste material by the students. Almost 55 teams comprising of approximately 150 students participated in the event. The judges for the event were Prof. Dr. Bhavish Gupta (DME Law School) and Ms. Bhavna Singh (DME Law School) for Best out of Waste competition. Dr. Sushmita Bala (DME Journalism School) and Ms. Shambhavi Mishra (DME Law School). Ayushi Dixit, Mansi Aggarwal, Akshara Verma of BBA 1 st year won the first prize in Best out of Waste event while Jagjit Singh, Shubham Sharma, Shubham Thakur from BBA 3rd year won the second prize. The 3rd and Consolation prizes were won by Aman Tyagi, Harshit Verma, Nakul Verma of BBA 3rd year and Niharika Aneja, Jasleen Thethi, Chirag Parasar from BBA 1st year respectively.
In the T-shirt painting event Agrim, Simi, Adnan of BBA 2nd year won the first prize while Kritika Rai and Kartik Somani of BBA 1st year won the second prize. Gaurav, Nirmit, Sparsh of BBA 2nd year stood third and Nimisha, Prateek, Niket of BBA 3rd year got the consolation prize.
Ms. Navjot Suri, teaching Environmental Law in the Third Year, BA., LL.B.I conducted the Professional Skill Development Activity (PSDA) related to Environmental Law by dividing the students into the groups of 15. Each group was supposed to prepare a research project/ model on the topics provided. The students were given Topics based on recent global environmental issues such as Plastic pollution, extinction of Tigers, Article 21 and environment, Yamuna at stake etc. The students did extensive research on the topics provided and came up with the findings and suggestions in the end along with creativity by presenting the same through Projects/ models. They researched on various landmark judgments, environmental legislation and policies.
Students participated in the PSDA with great enthusiasm and zeal. The students displayed their models/ projects in the college Reception with the aim to spread awareness with a strong message. They also used posters, audio clips, pictures which they themselves clicked and one of the group made a video which is being uploaded on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1YObAVJYos) to make the presentation more interesting and understandable for the audience. Through this Professional Skill Development Activity, students got a chance to enhance their communication, research and creative skills and it gave them a practical idea of the subject.
